ISPM 15 is a measure developed by the International Plant Protection Convention (IPPC) that addresses the need to treat wood materials of a thickness greater than 6mm, used to ship products between countries. Its main purpose is to prevent the international transport and spread of disease and insects that could negatively affect plants or ecosystems. ISPM 15 affects all wood pallets, crates and lumber, requiring that they heat treated and stamped with a mark of compliance.
Cutler Bros. has been a licensed and certified heat treating operation for over 15 years and has the industry expertise to get your products across the borders with no hassle. We can provide heat treatment services on any pallets or crates we manufacture, but we can also provide our services to museums, zoos, and other institutions that send wooden packaging to other countries.
